This policy explains what information Puzzledoku (puzzledoku.com) collects when you use the site and how it is used. In short: you don’t need an account to play, and we keep data collection to a minimum.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress and settings (for example unlocked levels, stars, items, daily puzzle results and sound preferences) are saved in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time with the “Clear all progress” option in a game’s settings, or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Analytics
To understand how the site is used and to improve our games, we may use:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views and performance without using cookies and without tracking you across sites.
- Google Analytics 4, which records usage events such as pages viewed and levels completed using a browser identifier. Google Analytics may set cookies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- PostHog, which measures page visits and game events such as puzzles started, completed or failed, hints used and shares. It stores a randomly generated browser identifier in local storage to understand repeat visits. We do not send your saved progress, name or email address to PostHog. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally, and we do not sell personal information.
Advertising
We may show ads in the future to keep our games free. If we do, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent first, and we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy before ads go live. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
Server logs and hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. SeeCloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.
Children
Our games are suitable for all ages, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we don’t run accounts, most data about your play lives only in your browser. For any request or question, contact us athello@puzzledoku.com.
